University film students got it into their heads to put on a nightly movie marathon at a local small-town movie theater dedicated to director William Castle, consisting of low-budget horror films from the 50s and 60s. They want to raise some money for their faculty. The screening program includes three films that are shown using "gimmicks" invented by Castle in the auditorium. A giant insect on a wire appears. There are seats equipped with electric vibrations. And then there are the odors in the air that accompany the painting. Well, who'd have thought a crazed killer would have seen this movie and decided to make his own horror movie?
