Elizabeth, Ron and Ibrahim are residents of Coopers Chase, an elite British nursing home. They spend Thursdays investigating long-standing unsolved murders and accept newcomer Joyce, a former nurse, into their "Thursday Murder Club" as a medical expert. When one of the owners of the establishment is murdered and the existence of Coopers Chase is threatened, the company of restless retirees can't stay away and decides to investigate.
