Ray, a former British Army soldier who fought against the IRA, has long lived as a hermit in a small house in the woods. One day his devout brother Jem, whom they haven't seen for 20 years, comes to visit him. Together they reminisce about the past and old traumas, but Jem has come to see his brother for a reason.
