Mary Sue lost her father as a child and her mother married politician Bradley Winer, who is fighting an election to keep his Senate seat. Mary is a troubled daughter and is a threat to his campaign. Her life consists of drugs, video games, and partying, and as a result her antics often end up in the press. One day Bradley, after consulting with his campaign manager Wes, decides to eliminate the girl so she doesn't derail his re-election chances. They hire a hitman to eliminate Mary Sue, hoping to finish the job before the election. However, their plans are not destined to come true, and the stepdaughter accidentally kills the hitman.
