The chamber orchestra is on the verge of closure - the mayor's office no longer wants to spend money from the city treasury on it. As a last hope for continued funding, a world-famous cellist is invited to join the orchestra. However, it quickly becomes clear that his inner world is not as brilliant and beautiful as his public image. Relations between the members of the orchestra begin to heat up. Just a few minutes before the orchestra is due to take to the stage of the crowded hall, the main star has a catastrophe.
