Thibault and Jimmy are brothers who were separated as children. They live completely different lives: one is a famous conductor, a world star, accustomed to luxury and comfort, the other is an unassuming and straightforward factory worker who plays the trombone in an amateur orchestra in his spare time. When Thibault learns that he needs a donor, he finds his brother and tries to get together with his newfound relative.
