Manel can't get over the death of his wife when the news suddenly begins to report cases of mutation of a certain virus that turns people into aggressive flesh-eating zombies. Manel tries to fly to his sister in the Canaries, but all flights are canceled, and his military son-in-law advises against getting on evacuation buses. Having fortified the house, the man survives quite well for a while in the company of his cat, but soon he has to start searching his neighbors' dwellings for food.
