At the end of the 70's the popularity of the screen ensemble "Vasilki" is growing rapidly. Lena, a journalism student, gets acquainted with the group and falls in love with the leader Yuri Vasilkov. But suddenly "Vasilki" disappear from the scene. Forty-five years later, Lena's daughters and grandson Roma set off on a journey to find the missing musicians in order to gather "Vasilki" at a December 31 TV concert and thus fulfill the only condition in Lena's will.
