As a teenager, Ed Kemper shot his grandparents and ended up in a mental institution. December 18, 1969, he leaves the clinic and, contrary to the doctor's instructions to stay away from his mother, goes to live with her. Relationships do not improve, his mother constantly criticizes him, and soon Ed begins to pick up on the road voting students and brutally kill them.
