Kate lives alone on a picturesque farm and gives riding lessons, but all her money is spent on escapades and rehabs of her promiscuous daughter Claire. Having quarreled with another boyfriend, Claire accidentally throws out a bag of heroin with his other things, and now they owe 10 thousand dollars. Kate, as always, is forced to help, and soon Claire appears on the doorstep crying and with bloodstains on her clothes.
