Teenager Ridley is forced to spend the weekend with her workaholic father Elliot in the company of his boss's family - a terminally ill pharmaceutical company executive. On the way to the family's country home, father and daughter suddenly hit a real unicorn. After killing the suffering animal, Elliot loads it into the car, and upon arrival it turns out that the animal has been resurrected and its blood has incredible healing properties. While the greedy rich family is about to monetize the discovery, Ridley discovers that unicorns are cruel and vengeful creatures.
