A shy boy, Morgan, goes to summer camp for the first time. He suffers from nightmares and is afraid of water, so he worries that it will be difficult for him to make friends. Contrary to his fears, Morgan easily gets along with a few kids, except that he is pestered by his mom's friend's tall son, and the scary story about the creepy doctor, told by the counselors at the campfire, suddenly becomes a reality.
