Sergei is an ambulance doctor. His best friend, the German Paul, used to drive cars from Germany to Russia - that's how they met. Paul has another hobby: antiques. He is a black digger: he looks for German awards, helmets, weapons on the battlefields and sells them for mad money. One day, while digging, the friends find a buried dugout, which takes them back to 1941.
