To pay for her dying sister's treatment, geotechnical engineer Abby Brennan accepts a job at a remote uranium mine. When she finds a strange meteorite, the expedition is interrupted by a helicopter crash. Abby is left alone among the forests, rocks and snow. Her only connection to the outside world is the voice of a man on a walkie-talkie who introduces himself as John. He claims he can save her.
